The Full Story
About Us
Although God for the Nations Mission was formed in 2021, our ministry started in 2011. Our first project was building a missionary base in San Luis Rio Colorado, as a resting point for teams to have during their service. In 2012, the base was complete but our ministry did not stop there as God has opened doors to serve the people of Mexico. We continued taking teams down to San Luis to preach the Gospel at Rehabilitation Centers, Parks, and encourage local churches in their walk with Christ. In 2013, our mission expanded to serve the people of the state of Nayarit. Two years later, we began serving the Tarahumara people in the mountains of Chihuahua. In 2016, we held our very first Bible camp for children in Quiviquinta, Nayarit with camps being held now every year. After many prayers and considerations, in 2021 we had two goals. Our first goal was to start up a non-profit organization to continue God’s work and continue spreading the Gospel in Mexico. Our second goal was to buy property in Quiviquinta, Nayarit where we may build a church for the local people. Both of these prayers would be answered, glory to God, as our mission to spread the Gospel to the nations continues.
Mission
The mission of God for the Nations is to spread the Gospel to the nations. This organization hopes to accomplish this through both spiritual support as well as materialist support. Our mission is to take the prayers, donations and support from our community and spread it to the communities that are in need.
Our Latest Trip
We continued our ministry in Mexico, April 2024. We hosted a One-Day VBS but primarily focused on construction of the church. We were able to get the church trusses up and for the Living Quarters have all plumbing done as well as the slab poured. Every evening we had services with the locals to continue helping them grow together in Christ and in The Word.
Our Past Project
Although God for the Nations Mission was only formed in 2021, our past project started in 2011 with local churches in Washington State. "Word of Life Christian Missionary Center" was built as a resting point in San Luis Rio Colorado for teams passing through or serving in the city.
Our Current Project
December 2021, through prayers and support, we were able to buy property in Quiviquinta, Nayarit. Our goal is to build a church for the local community, so they may grow in Christ together. In February 2022, 4 people, went to look at supplies and planning out the construction to begin in May 2022.
Updated Progress of Quiviquinta
During our latest trip (April 2024), We were able to get all trusses up and welded onto the roof, with the help of locals. For the Sleeping/Eating Quarters, we managed to run all plumbing throughout the building and pour the second phase of slab.
